Our foreign client has purchased an empty unit and would like to have a design done to the unit that reflexes his lifestyle. The keyword for this project given by the unit owner is “Simple but Elegant”. After we finished our meeting session with the client, our team decided to decorate the unit space with the theme “Natural Modern Classic” that encapsulated the luxurious aspect of the design, plus the usage of modern flares in the detailing throughout the space, all of which would create a relaxing and elegant atmosphere suiting for living.
When walking into the unit, you’ll see a simple-style pantry space with a slit-open door, floating cabinet. Underneath the cabinet is lined with tiles and stainless-steel cornices that connect you to the corniced wall on the side. Next to the pantry area is the counter bar which is made to be suitable for wine-tasting sessions from the wine cabinet or serves as a meeting spot at the house party with his friends. Moving onto another space nearby is the dining and TV area which has been divided using pastel green cornices that exudes calmness and relaxation while keeping the fun element intact.
The sofa in the living room area is designed to have curves and wrapped arms, which reflects the client’s personality. A rug is also placed under the sofa. The wall where the TV cabinet hangs from is painted and decorated with sprayed-color cornices, by opting for the hanging cabinet option in a limited space, the room is given the illusion of openness and airiness. To create a simple space separation without the use of walls, a golden tea mirror is placed next to the TV to make this space appears more spacious and also add the luxurious element to the area.
The wavy design sliding door was placed in the master bedroom to create movement and spaciousness. With the space being limited, our team chose light color tones as the main mood, and applies it to the wood and wallpapers to decorate the space. The beddings are also on a lighter color tone with a hint of green to ease the eyes. The client chose to redecorate the dry area in the bathroom of the master bedroom by using tiles and wood, hanging lights, and hidden LED lights surrounding the space.
The guest bedroom is used for family members and other guests. The bed is constructed in a way that it can be folded while the bedding is hidden underneath. The headboard has a spray-painted style cornice and the base of the bed can serve as storage which offers a great solution and matches well with our client’s needs and requirements.
